MI Climb Science State of Michigan site that gives science benchmark clarification, instruction, and assessment. Gives lessons and standards relevant to energy conservation, convection, conduction, etc.

National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) Promotes an energy conscious and educated society by creating effective networks of students, educators, business, government and community leaders to design and deliver objective, multi-sided energy education programs.
National Energy Foundation Provides teaching and learning opportunities which promote a better understanding of energy, natural resources, and the environment.
National Science Resource Center (NSRC) NSRC is operated by the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and the Smithsonian Institution to improve the teaching of science in the nation's schools. The NSRC collects and disseminates information about exemplary teaching resources, develops and disseminates curriculum materials, and sponsors outreach activities to help school districts develop and sustain hands-on science programs.

Northeast Sustainable Energy Association Energy, transportation, and the environment make excellent themes for interdisciplinary education. NESEA works to bring hands-on, project- and problem-based learning experiences to K-12 teachers and students with resources and training.
 
Office of Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology Part of the U.S. Department of Energy site with information on all aspects of nuclear energy. A video, “Splitting Atoms – An Electrifying Experience”, can be ordered and is free.

Powering a Generation of Change (Smithsonian) Powering a Generation of Change is a project to document the story of electrical power restructuring in North America as it unfolds over the coming years. The project is being conducted by the Division of Information Technology and Society at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.
