Note 1: This collector is structurally integrated into a metal roof system. Its low temperature rating is 4800 Btu for the test area of 46.4 square feet or 104 Btu per square feet.
Note 2: This collector is structurally integrated into a metal roof system. Its low temperature rating is 15,100 Btu for the test area of 100.1 square feet or 151 Btu per square feet.
Note 3: This collector is structurally integrated into a concrete tile roof system. Its low temperature rating is 7,400 Btu for the test area of 101.84 square feet or 73 Btu per square feet.
Note 4: This collector is conditionally certified. The purpose of the conditional certification tests is to verify initial quality of construction only. The resulting conditional certification is not a guarantee of long term durability. Full scale testing and evaluation are to be completed within one year from the date of conditional certification. Conditional certification issued March 2006.
Note 5: Integral storage system tested to FSEC ICS test procedures. Please contact the Testing & Operations Division to obtain the unit's summary information sheet.
Note 6: This collector is structurally integrated into a metal roof system. The roof system also includes a foil faced radiant barrier. Its low temperature rating is 14,400 Btu for the test area of 100.1 square feet or 144 Btu per square feet.
*The flow rate through a solar collector affects its performance, but may or may not affect the performance of the system in which it is installed. Some of the collectors listed here have been tested at flow rates other than those specified by testing standards. These collector models are identified with an asterisk (*) immediately preceding the model number.
