This sequence will illustrate the installation of the collector feed line piping.

Pipe fittings Pipe fittings are measured, cut and fitted for the proper length. The installer has designed the collector feed piping installation in a manner that will allow the collector to drain.
Soldering piping Once all the piping and fittings have been attached correctly, the installer then solders them.
Return piping The return line piping on the roof is completed. Note that the piping was installed in a manner that allows proper draining of the liquid from the collector.
The next step will be insulating the piping.
