FSEC
Plays Key Role in School “Utility Report Card”
Project
Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham and Florida
Energy Office director Alexander Mack help launch
FSEC's
utility

FSEC research scientist Dr. Ross
McCluney has authored (and edited, respectively) two new
books
Humanity's Environmental Future: Making Sense
in a Troubled World is an original work dealing with
the long term consequences of our combined energy and
environmental crises. It addresses the historical and
philosophical bases of these problems in an engaging,
easy-to-read manner. Getting to the Source: Readings
on Sustainable Values is an anthology of works by
noted environmental writers, journalists, and philosophers,
with an introduction by the editor. Learn more at www.sunpinepress.com. |

Dehumidification
at Part Load
Dynamic building simulation tools provide the best means
for engineers to evaluate how well their designs perform
at part-load conditions. Unfortunately, most mainstream
hourly building simulation tools currently do not predict
space humidity levels properly at part load. This paper
presents experimental data and confirms the validity
of a latent degradation model for single-capacity systems.
